“Pale yellows dancing with the boldest
Swipes of tangerine on a sun-drenched canvas
Sway their heavy heads”

Soft cream lined with the adolescent hints
Of crimson
Pale yellows dancing with the boldest
Swipes of tangerine on a sun-drenched canvas
Sway their heavy heads
To the tune of the pungent earth
As a woman watches
Through the shutters of time
